Digital Twin Models
We make use of Microsoft Azure’s Digital Twin Model Language to describe how a device’s data messages are structured. This allows for example to build the query UI in Grafana.
Digital Twin Models can be defined for a specific device or a physical model. The former, if defined, prevails over the latter.
To create a new DT model, navigate to Models -> Digital Twins
from the side menu in the BlueForest dashboard. The Digital Twin Definition Language (DTDL) documentation is available here.
You may then assign a Digital Twin model to a physical model when creating/editing it.
If you’re having difficulties to build the DTM for your devices, feel free to contact the support team on the Support page.
